The pools were all warm and the kids enjoyed the lazy river. Free WiFi.
The walk from the pool area to the room was very chilly.

We had a great overnight experience. The other family we met were nice. Clean rooms, loved the microwave and fridge in the room.

I liked that it was on the beach.
The arms of the chairs were wobbly/broken, needed bowls, glasses and more utensils.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The view from the balcony was nice.

Building was not connected, and all the pools were not warm.

The hotel was great. The bars, the location, and the stay was comfortable. I didn't like how the buildings were not connected.

The decor and the cleanliness of the rooms and the fact it was oceanfront.
I didn't like that we had to check in so late, but it was our fault we booked the same day.

I think the hotel was beautiful, clean and very economical. I only wished we had booked earlier and asked for a room that was higher than the 2nd floor.

No smoking rooms..

The many amenities, such as pools, lazy rivers, shuffleboard, hammocks, music/bar, sauna, hot tubs, oceanfront!
Breakfast buffet was expensive for the quality of food offered.

This hotel is not located in the most desirable part of the grand strand. It is in the South End, whereas more stores, restaurants, etc. are in the North end. However, the amenities offered at this hotel are so numerous and wonderful that the resort alone is what made our stay so pleasing! We stayed another night at the North end of the strip and were nowhere near as satisfied as we were when we stayed at Compass Cove! We were truly impressed! ...read more
